When this award-winning Historic Tax Credit renovation/restoration project began the venerable Norfolk and Western Passenger Train Station had not been in use for over 20 years. The building's infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc., had to be entirely replaced in order to bring the facility to current building codes.

Great care was taken in the restoration of the finishes that give the building its charm, such as the marble floors, travertine surrounds, acoustic dome and matching existing woodwork and trim. The former train station became home to the Roanoke Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau and the O. Winston Link Museum. 29,500 SF.
